We go through hundreds of these cups each year at my work. It drives me nuts to watch all of them end up in the garbage. I made my own personal choice to use the same plastic mug each day.

We live in a large apartment building in Berkeley, and we, too, put our recycling in neighboring buildings’ recycling containers because our building manager won’t get them, asserting that the city charges building owners for these.

Re: paper mugs- - I’m trying to find a supplier in the U. S. for paper mugs. Some years ago one found hot drinks in paper cups with fold-out mug handles. I’m trying to find a supplier of these. Can you help?

My wife and I do nature presentations, using parrots and a snake, about parrots and the rainforest. To make it entertaining we start the presentation in as pirate characters. As a festival event we want to have a root beer tavern. We want to sell root beer in paper mugs. Please help us find a supplier of paper mugs.

I really think employees should be encouraged to bring in their own mugs, or each employee should be given a ceramic mug and then it’s their responsibility to clean it. If you don’t offer any other alternatives, chances are people will use their own.
